Shooting Star Chase Test Match Ball

On 14th July 2016, just under 500 guests attended the Shooting Star Chase Test Match Ball at The Grange Hotel, Towerbridge with celebrity guests including Graham Gooch OBE, Angus Fraser MBE, Adam Hollioake, Andrew Strauss OBE, Devon Malcolm, John Emburey, Mushtaq Ahmad, Simon Jones MBE, Chris Tremlett and Sam Robson.

Entertainment came in the form of rap duo Abandon. Our very own David Nash and Sky Sports Presenter Vicky Gomersall chaired an insightful Q&A session with Andrew Strauss, Adam Hollioake, Mushtaq Ahmed and Graham Gooch. DJ Benny Blanco capped off the evening with a fantastic dance set before the after party at Club 14, Leicester Square.

BBC’s Charlie Ross conducted a fantastic main auction raising vital funds for Shooting Star Chase – lots included a private box at the ATP Tennis, Directors box experience at Chelsea FC, hospitality to see England v Malta in the World Cup Qualifier and holidays to the Maldives and Val D’Isere and many more…

Monies raised from the event have been donated to Shooting Star Chase, a charity caring for local families with a child or teenager with a life limiting condition. They are no average charity and need £25,000 per day and over £9 million annually to survive and are currently supporting over 600 families across London, Surrey & West Sussex. David Nash, CEO of D&G Partners has been a supporter of Shooting Star Chase since his benefit year in 2007, raising monies by running two marathons, bike rides and the GRIM challenge.
