On the 1st of September 2016, we welcomed suppliers and partners of Holland and Barrett to the fabulous Celtic Manor in Wales to take part in the Holland and Barrett Charity Golf Day and Gala Dinner. Over 112 golfers took to the Montgomerie Course and the 2010 Ryder Cup Course to raise money for Rainbows and Healthy Hope. The day kicked off with breakfast after which they headed off to the courses and were entertained with competitions galore including Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive, Beat the Pro and a Hole in One!
We welcomed 48 guests to the Thrill Seeker Experience where they took part in an adrenaline-fuelled day which included Crossbow, Segway’s, Archery, Quad Bikes, Falconry, Wacky Races, Message in a Bottle and Human Sheep Herding. 60 guests made their way to the Spa where they were treated to a champagne breakfast followed by their choice of two treatments.
After the day’s activities, guests joined us for the evening Gala Dinner. Attendees were treated to a delicious three course meal, which was followed by the main auction, hosted by Holland and Barrett’s CEO Peter Aldis.
The main auction included some unique lots such as an Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Trip, and inspiring button artworks created by the sister of the children who relies on Rainbows hospice. These unique pictures were sold at an amazing prize of £20,000! The silent auction was very popular with guests were bidding to the very last minute via their tables. Entertainment came from rap and comedy duo Abandoman and live music was provided by Black and Gold.Holland & Barrett Brochure 2016
